1986-1993 1) Preparation, compositional modification, ion exchange surface strengthening and laser performance of neodymium phosphate laser glasses;

2) Preparation and compositional modification of filter glasses as well as their

application in varied solid lasers;

3) Preparation and compositional modification of the cladding glass on the

phosphate laser glass as well as improvement of cladding process;

4) Preparation and upconversion properties of Er3+-doped heavy metal oxide

glasses.

1994-1995 Preparation and spectroscopic properties of transparent glass ceramics

containing Cr3+.

1995-1998 Photoluminescence enhancement of rare earth ions (Er3+, Eu3+) in phase

separated and crystallized glasses.
